F510 & F525 STEERING REPAIR – REMOVE STEERING SHAFT AND GEARS

1. Disconnect battery negative (—) cable.
2. Remove steering wheel.
3. Remove indicator panel (A).
4. Disconnect indicator lights (B).
5. Remove pedestal (C).

6. Remove cotter pin (A) and washers.
7. Remove shaft assembly.

8. Remove cotter pin, washers and bushing (A).
9. Disconnect drag link (B) from lever.
10. Remove cap screws attaching foot rest (C) to frame.
11. Loosen spring by backing out cap screw (D).
12. Remove cap screws attaching bracket (E) to frame.
13. Remove gear assembly.
14. Disassemble arm (F), gear (G) and bushing (H).
